Yes. Monitoring means: Recording of, viewing of, intercepting of, or taking, listening to and keeping records of communications, email, text messages, or other communications.
We may monitor where permitted by law and we’ll do this where the law requires it, or to comply with regulatory rules, to prevent or detect crime, in the interests of protecting the security of our communications systems and procedures and for quality control and staff training purposes. This information may be shared for the purposes described above
Account. You may delete, deactivate or edit your account settings, including your privacy setting information by emailing us at support@storylava.com. Note: We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
Marketing. End users (employees of the Employer) are not marketed to. All marketing communications are between Employers and Storylava. Employers may opt out of receiving marketing and promotional emails and text messages from Storylava by following the ‘Unsubscribe” instructions in those messages, or by replying STOP to a text message. Please note that if opted out, we may still send you transactional or relationship messages, such as those about your account or our ongoing business until you delete your account.
Cookies. Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can usually set your browser to remove or reject browser cookies. Please note that if you choose to remove or reject cookies, this could affect the availability and functionality of the Services provided.
Tracking. We may allow others to provide analytics services on our behalf and when agreed by you the user, to serve advertisements to you on our behalf. These entities may use cookies, web tracking (beacons) and other technologies to collect information about your use of the Services and other websites. This information may be used by Storylava and others, to, among other things, analyze and track data, determine the popularity of certain content, deliver advertising targeted to your interests and better understand your online activity.
At this time, all data in the Services is stored in the United States of America. As such, the Services are not intended for use by nationals covered by GDPR.
We sometimes make decisions about you using only technology, where none of our employees or any other individuals have been involved. For instance, we may do this to decide whether to offer you a product or service and the price we will offer the Service to you.

From time to time Storylava may send Employers email messages or other forms of marketing communications describing new services, new items, featured products or promotions. You can choose to stop receiving marketing emails from us at any time by requesting to unsubscribe to emails by clicking on the "unsubscribe" link on any email received. Except for the rights you grant in Terms of Use, as between the parties, End Users own individual data. As part of the Storylava Terms of Service you grant a license right for your Employer to view, aggregate and allow Storylava centrally store your data solely for the purposes of complying with federal, state, and sometimes local COVID-19 directives, executive orders, requirements, or recommendations. Employers own all right, title and interest (including all intellectual property rights) to the aggregated User Data.
The Storylava website and services are intended for use by legally employable persons 14 years old and older. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we learn that any personal information has been collected inadvertently from a child under 13, we will delete the information as soon as possible. If you believe that we might have collected information from a child under 13, it is your responsibility to contact us at support@storylava.com
Storylava employs a Data Protection Officer who follows US HIPAA requirements, and the legal and regulatory data privacy policies of the US, EU, and UK. The Storylava DPO also updates and enforces this Privacy policy and may be contacted at support@storylava.com.
This Privacy Policy was updated on September 10, 2020. We reserve the right to change, modify or amend this policy at any time. Use of the Storylava Service after modification implies that you consent to this Privacy Policy as modified

If you are a California resident, (a) you may have this same information emailed to you by sending a letter to the foregoing address with your email address and a request for this information; and (b) in accordance with Cal. Civ.
